I have read Ciana Stone before and as such had high hopes for this book. The ideal is a good one and could have been a total 10 for me but a lot of the story felt a little to rushed. I like to read about my couples love life and the sex scenes were skipped with no details or anything. I liked the romance between Layla and Augustus but felt like the story line needed to be built a little more than it was in the beginning. I do recommend that the author continue with the other characters in the book and hopefully will come out with a book for each of the 7 paranormal leaders.

This was unbelievably awesome. I loved every minute of it from start till end. I knew it was the publicist that was behind all the attacks, plus she wanted the vampire for herself.
This book was fantastic, and I want to get that second Book in the worst way! After this I'm gonna be searching high and low for it. Ciana Stone is a great story teller. You won't regret reading anything she writes. AMEN
Very interesting twist to supernatural beings among us! As always, though, money, and, as as a result power, talks. I would like to see this genre in a poor setting! But, oh well, that book is probably yet to be written! I will read more from this author, regardless. I do enjoy the imaginative ways the various histories are presented. Thank you.

I really enjoyed the different spin that this book has compared to most paranormal books. The world of the book is interesting and you find yourself wanting to know more about the characters. With magic, vampires, fae, angels, daemons, shifters and more this world has a lot of growing room and I am interested to see where the series goes from here. If you are looking for a breath of fresh air in the paranormal genre then this is for you!
On my knees is basically my obsession for paranormal romances became my reality. You won't be able to put it down. I'm already impatient for the next story. 

This is basically the story of an ordinarily normal girl who throws caution to the wind and writes a best selling paranormal romance novel that becomes a best seller, but then it becomes reality!  When she suddenly becomes involved with a vampire and also learns that all these paranormal beings are real! Through the whole book I kept thinking omg yes please happen to me too, but what a new type of perspective to take on a paranormal romance. I loved this book and this is my second book by Ciana Stone I'm sure I'll be on the look out for more of her books.

Got about 1/3 through but had to give up on this one. The main character is a silly woman so annoying I couldn't read anymore. The plot is predictable and rushed. The characters are shallow and superficial. The one potential sex scene was a ”fade to black.” There is no romance or charisma to be found. Flat with no emotion. Sorry, can't recommend.
I liked that this was a different take on your basic paranormal book. I thought that it gave the potential to expand into a multiple book series which is something I absolutely love. However this felt way to much like a standalone book and the story line was completely wrapped up. There wasn’t any real teaser to open up additional books. The characters were decently developed though I had a hard time liking the main male lead. For a vampire type he was okay but I think that he was too hard and cold. I would have liked him a bit better if there was something more to draw me into him. I also thought that the female lead was a bit to bubble headed. I really hate the ditzy woman stereotype. Even more so since her profession in this book was that of a published author. The story line was well developed and things moved along at a decent enough pace. Overall it was a good book but I’m not sure if I would read additional books if this was to develop into a series.
